Why did R. Kelly's publicist quit?
Last week R. Kelly's longtime publicist Regina Daniels released a statement saying she resigned as his publicist after 14 years of loyal service. "I have always prided myself on professionalism, respect and loyalty," says Daniels. "I ended my relationship with Kelly because there are some lines you just don't cross."
That last sentence sparked wild rumors - one of which is gaining traction in the industry: Sources say R. Kelly asked Mrs. Daniels and her husband George Daniels to lie for him on the stand during a recent hearing for his child pornography case. Regina Daniels quit the next day.
In a statement Wednesday, George Daniels, a prominent record retailer, said: "I have also disassociated myself from Kelly."

Okay I'm getting a little tired of the R. Kelly speculation posts, but anyway if she wanted the real reason for her departure to be known she would tell it her damn self. Stop slandering the man's name just for the hell of it.
Regina Daniels knew exactly what she was doing. She wanted to hurt him in a big way, by doing it on the day the tour started. A real publicist would have walked away and left it alone. Did y'all notice she started advistering her new venture. You quit 2 months ago and now you want to go public about it. Come on, y'all, can't ya'll see what this is really about. The bitch is bitter. Plain and simple.

I would like to get all the dirt on R. Kelly. I want the trial to be a "sensation" and his ex-publicist needs to tell all!! I think she's going to tell enough-- otherwise she wouldn't have said anything about him crossing the line.

has anyone seen that video! anyone that has to ask "if that's him" is crazy! clearly its him and one vid i saw there were several other scenes as well. i saw it about 5 years ago and have been appalled at the black communities reaction since. all the digital enhancements in the world couldnt change the obvious....tisk.tisk! yet we still buy his albums and now he's event on tour now!! yes he is a pedophile people...please stop being such hypocrites and supporting his music!his publicist knows exactly what's up!!

regina quitting isn't a good look for kells...a tight-knit "family" type of relationship existed outside of their business relationship...i wonder if the prosecutor will try to call regina and george to the stand...unless they were paid off (like the 14 y/o's family), this will def put a spin on the case...
It's sad but true, the black community always turn a blind eye to pedophiles. She was not the first and she won't be the last. The reason that he is not in jail is because he rapes little black girls, if he raped little white girls he would be in prison.
