Kim speaks Out About the 'Other Woman'

It's hard being a jump off these days. The prenuptial agreement is one obstacle, but the other is that jump offs are getting more sophisticated. To be a good jump off in this man's world takes smarts, determination and patience. What sets Kim Porter and her arch nemesis Sarah Chapman apart is the fact that Sarah shuns the spotlight.

Sarah is the woman who gave birth to Sean Combs' baby girl last year. If you are a regular reader of Sandrarose.com, you knew about Sarah and her baby before the rest of the world.

Kim Porter, who split from Sean for good, has been on a tear in the past few weeks giving interviews to any mainstream magazine that will listen to her. Kim recently sat down with Essence magazine for a two-part interview in which she confirmed the existence of Sarah and Sean's baby girl.

Porter's rudest awakening in all her years with Combs, 37, took place late last year, when she was pregnant with the couple's twin daughters D'Lila Star and Jessie James, who were born Dec. 21. That was when a girlfriend informed her that Combs had recently fathered a baby with another woman.

Most of the info in that article is fabricated by Kim to ease the sting of losing her man to a younger jump off (Kim will be 39 this year, Sarah is 33).

An article on People.com, detailed part 2 of Essence's interview with Kim. Kim may or may not have known about Sarah Chapman's pregnancy before she became pregnant with her twins. But she certainly knew of Sarah's pregnancy before Sarah gave birth five months before she did. In fact, Sarah's pregnancy was announced on my site and in the NY Daily News before Kim announced her pregnancy.

Kim also alluded to the fact that she didn't know Sarah. Of course that's not true.

"I wasn't even coming from the place of who, what, why," Porter tells the magazine. "I laid low and did what women do: I did my background work, collected information [about the other woman]. But I wasn't even on it like that because I was pregnant, and what was bubbling inside me was a blessing from God. I couldn't let my energy be on that. I didn't have time for any drama, trauma and bull----."

The reality is Kim had prior knowledge of Sarah's role as Sean Combs' jump off for years. Kim and Sarah moved in the same circles and knew of each other in the way that competing jump offs instinctively do. A source revealed the two women even spoke by phone.

Last year, Sandrarose.com broke the news that Kim was having twins. The scoop about the twins was kind of a slap in the face to Sarah (the aging jump off one-upping the younger upstart). But a bitter pill is hard to swallow, and Kim eventually discovered that having twins doesn't keep a man from straying. Sean continued to see Sarah, who, despite what her lawyer says, was with Sean for more than 3 years. There's that celebrity florist who regularly delivered bouquets of roses sent by Sean to Sarah's home years ago. Kim finally conceded defeat and packed her things, leaving Atlanta for good.

With the coast clear, Sarah and her baby moved back to Atlanta from Texas permanently and resumed her life. The Spelman grad can often be seen at industry parties smiling graciously and posing for pictures with anyone who asks. Her life is set for the next 18 years - and she still has the man. To the victor goes the spoils, as they say.
