Word Of The Day (Pleasing God)

Good morning, He loves everyone irrespective of caste, color, creed, and nationality, and hates oppression and torture. His heart went with the people who were in dire need of deliverance. He brought them from their miserable situation and kept them in a land that flows with milk and honey. But they did not remain loyal to Him. Rather, they became very arrogant, insolent, and disobedient. God reminded them through the prophet Jeremiah that they were special to Him and to the world. We are in the same situation. God, in Christ, has delivered us from the powers of sin, Satan, and death, and graciously blessed us with the blessings of this world. But we are ungrateful and unfaithful to Him. He admonishes us to change our ways and to live according to His will so our lives will be pleasing to Him. Have a Blessed day.

Good morning, Why should we pray, anyway? Prayer is not only the VERY BEST thing, but also the JESUS RECOMMENDED thing to do for anyone in desperate need. But there is also another good reason to pray: It seems that Jesus asked His disciples to pray for more than one reason! Jesus knew what was ahead of Him and His followers, and He knew how ill-equipped His followers were. So He told them to pray so that they would not fall into temptation. Jesus knew that their spirits were more than willing. But He also knew that their bodies were weak!

Good morning, Why is it then that we have trusted other forms of people or things to try to find that fullness that God overflows our hearts? We have placed that aspect to the test, and have asked, "What is the true meaning of life?" We have placed things that are tangible and things that are going to fade away into the place of our hearts where Jesus wants the fullness and wants to overflow Himself in us. We have to realize that when we look for the meaning of life, there is not other meaning or no other person that wants that hole in our hearts but Jesus because He is life and He is our everything.
