Posh hails the Queen
Posh thought she and hubby David Beckham met every celebrity there was to meet at their Welcome to LA bash last weekend. So there she was shopping at the posh (pun intended) H Lorenzo store in West Hollywood when she ran into Queen Latifah. Recognizing her from TV, Posh leaned over and gave Latifah two quick air kisses. Posh reportedly asked the Queen why she didn't come to her party. Latifah reportedly responded, "I wasn't invited."

IM SICK OF THESE BRITISH PEOPLE, The British are never this friendly in Brittian or London to Americans unless your rich or famous. People are praising Posh and David like they cured cancer, white people really love some white people.
Be careful. I was born in London and the British are a lot nicer to "us" over there than we are to our kind over here.
Sandra is that Latifah's trainer girl at the bottom of the stairs behind Posh's legs? There's a big time rumor going around about these two right now. I still love Latifah though.
Regardless of how Posh looks physique wise, she wears the baddest gear.

Sandra, you always capture Queen when she is looking less than flattering. I dig the low key look, but she also cleans up really nice, when she has to.

Kanye talks about LV every second and has a party at the store then items come up missing, T.I hosted his party at the store, and Kimora almost swears she's part owner. It use to be very special to have an LV but now this HIp Hop Generation has completely almost made it invaluable

I think it comes from having nothing to having something and you want to buy the nearest thing thats going to make you look hot or feel important. Kayne's song "Cant Tell Me Nothing" talks about how he was buying alot of LV and his mom was trying to stop him but she couldnt tell him nothing. I say Hip Hop Generation because we are living in a pop culture where its about Hip Hop style and language. There is no need to go around yelling LV everywhere. I have seen some busted people with LV bags but their not famous, their not in the publics eye so its a little less bad but for a musician to be always talking about LV like thats what makes you important is outrageous. I see Jessica Simpson wear the bag and other white stars but their not singing about it or actin like thats the only bag in the world

You're correct. He also said when he got his first check he rushed out and bought an expensive Jesus piece from Jacob. That's what we do when we aren't used to anything. I could run out and buy several Louis Vuitton bags right now, but I don't need labels to validate me or make me feel important. Okay, I'm lying. I could buy several LV bags but I really WANT ALL OF THEM!!! So if I can't have them all I don't even want one, lol!
I really dont want to come down on our Hip Hop stars but they just swear these white companies are asking for their business, look at what Jay Z had to do with Cristal he stopped using their product because he knew what their take was on hip hop and blacks....Kanye just does too much to prove that he's is cool and the only way to be cool is to wear LV, look at recent pictures of his house with all the LV lying around in stacks.
I love me some Posh, that girls attitude and dress attire is fierce. This woman is always on point. I still can't believe she spent 50k on a closet, that comes with mirrors and a computer that lets her know what outfit she has already worn and much much more. Have you noticed almost eveyone is rocking this hair style that she has worn for some time.

Im actually okay with my one LV bag because I dont need labels and I find it hard to pay once again that much for a bag, now maybe if Im rich status but to be working for something that doesnt want me to buy it because its not affordable I just dont do. I rather have my bills paid, or money saved up for the future, and this is what we should be thinking about putting away for the future and no just blowing it for today....Im mad because he can afford all those bags because we gave him money but we cant afford the bags because we gave him money (a little adds up)

I agree. I love LV bags but I can admire them from a distance. I do not live beyond my means. It's more important to me now to prosper financially than to run to the mall with my paycheck and be broke by the end of the week. I remember years ago arguing with my youngest brother who owns a GNC store in Tampa. He said to me, "I bet you don't even have $5,000 in the bank?" I was furious at him because he was right. He can't say that to me now.

Saving up is way more important....Like the chick from Charm School, why did she spend her rent money on some Uggs? I wish us as black people were taught to put away and save but I think because we have been done so wrong in history we really get excited when we have stuff, it proves we have almost made it but we have a long way to go

We don't teach our kids the importance of credit and having a savings. That comes with age though. As you get older it means less to us to impress people with material things. I am more impressed with people who own property than I am with people who own 10 Louis Vuitton bags.
