A million dollars is not that much money to be "taken care of". However, its says that is how much she was paid to take his name off the birth certificate. He could be paying her some type of child support in addition to that million plus. Either way...who cares! This is still an assumption. Just because the fathers name is not on the birth certificate doesn't provide proof that the father is not taking care of his son. Sandra's write-up said nothing about the father not taking care of his son. Like I said maybe I missed that part.

Trust he's giving her financial support it would be too easy for her to go child welfare and request back child support. Even if she signed a contract not to mention his name or have him added as the father in lieu of the money..doesn't matter..it would be the state(country)against him not the mother, child's rights take precendence over anything..the only way out of it is if Jay signed away his rights for his son..., however that wouldn't be smart either because at the age of 18 his son could get it overturned and all monies accumulated would be rewarded...it's in his best interest to keep it quiet for now(his choice) and still pay, because he will end up paying in the end...

I wonder what state the baby was born in? Unless they have changed the law, you can put a child's father down on the certificate of birth the piece of paper you receive from the hospital that you keep as proof of birth until you file for an original birth certificate. But, unless the father is there with a photo ID, the father's name will not be on the birth certificate anyway. If that were the case I could have a baby tomorrow and put Denzel Washington as the father.

Why would Jay Z keep a child a secret? In that Amil song "4 Da Fam" from like 1999 he said in the lyrics that he was having a child. In another song he put out later (that I can't remember) he said that the girl had a miscarriage. This doesn't sound like a man who has a problem having a son. Then Jay and B have only been together for about 3 years and this child is a toddler, so why the secret?
I think that it's Diddy's baby because he kind of resembles Diddy's other son, Justin. Just a thought!

I don't know how he can pay to keep his name off the birth certificate. I'm not sure how old the kid is, but years ago they made it so that a woman can't just put a man's name on the birth certificate. Now the man has to sign the paper stating that he is the father and give consent to have his name put on the birth certificate. If the father isn't present, it's left blank.. Maybe the million was to pay for her silence, or for her not to seek a DNA test. He probably figured it was cheaper to pay her the 1 million up front, instead of the 10,000 or more a month until the kid is 18. If that's the case, she's a lame too.

I've went to another website and got the pic of Jay Z with the cap and gown that's always shown as a childhood pic. He and this child look about the same age so I tried to compare. Unfortunately I still don't have any clue. I've lost and won a few bets about Maury so I can't call it. Find the pic and compare. The child might be older than his and Beyonce's relationship or around the sametime it started. I think he kept his name off the birth certificate for the same reasons he and Beyonce never admitted to a relationship. Privacy!

This story came out about almost a year ago, and it's definately Jay- Z! It was suppose to be before Beyonce', but if it was when they were together he should be man enough to step up and take responsibility!!
